- novice actors often overanalyze a character and pre-plan every move in a performance. This often leads to line readings.
- do not anticipate or plan how you will react.
- you don't need to project your voice or gestures, the camera is capable of recording the subtlest intimacy.
- Dialogue is less important than what you feel.
- Predetermined emotions can make you look forced and dishonest. predetermined emotions inhibit your ability to relate with your fellow actors.
